1. Blind Spot Warning System with Heated Mirror

General Work procedure:

• Front Part (Mirror, Door, Fusebox)

  • Remove Door panel. Youtube
  • Remove original mirror
  • Remove Mirror Cover. Youtube
  • Plug in new Mirror and harness, use Wire Lead Routing Tool move the mirror wire through the Door panel and gradully inside the firewall, (This part is extremely hard, may need Handyman to help)
  • Install new Heated Mirror. This Mirror heated function is a generic resistor and we don’t need to care about the positive and ground
  • Install the door panel

• Rear Part (Radar, Rear Bumper, Turning light and signal)

  • Remove the rear bumper. Youtube
  • Use Direction Indicator, find appropriate location to place the 77GHz Radar
  • Drill Positioning Hole for Radar and mount it
  • Tapping into the Turning signal wire as the Actuator Trigger
  • Secure all the newly added wire safely and soundly
  • Install the rear bumper cover

• Install the sunlight sensor
• Routing the new wire, please be caution reroute the wire under the airbag
• Install the A-pillar Trim
• Remove Steering wheel cover Trim. Youtube
• Connect the bypass controler connector to the original headlight connector
• Connector power from the fusebox

  • Remove the A-pillar Trim. Youtube

  • Connect the base vehcile communication bus under the cover.
  • Routing the new wire, please be caution reroute the wire under the airbag
  • Install the A-pillar Trim
• Rear Part work
  • Remove the rear bumper. Youtube
  • According to the Placeholder location, drill 4 seperate hole to place the Supersonic Radar. Use glue washer to make sure agood attachment
  • Secure all the newly added wire safely and soundly
  • Install the rear bumper cover
• Front Part work
  • Remove front bumper. Youtube
  • According to the Placeholder location, drill 4 seperate hole to place the Supersonic Radar. Use glue washer to make sure agood attachment
  • Secure all the newly added wire safely and soundly

  • Reroute the wire through the firewall. This step is super hard and took me 2 hour. Youtube, you can use body lotion or hand lotion to make it easier

• Detach the old fog light placeholder, install the new fog light
• Tapping into the Turning signal wire as the Actuator Trigger Link to replace the light in case you broke it
• Drill hole from Front Main fusebox to give extension for Power. Youtube
• Install the ground or the Fog light
• Secure all the newly added wire safely and soundly
• Install the front bumper cover
• Install control relay to positioning light (Typically you need to install a physically switch into the cabin, but as it’s really hard to reroute wire through firewall, I turn to install relay)
• Hardwire (WIP)
